📄 Terms & Conditions – Mobile Notary Services *

By scheduling services with N & B Street LLC, you agree to the following:

1. Services Provided Mobile notary services include witnessing signatures, administering oaths, and notarizing documents, advising, etc, at your chosen location.

2. Fees & Payment

• Travel Fee: $0.70 per mile (non-refundable)
• Notarization: $10 for the first signature, $1 per additional signature
• Time Fee: $25-30 per hour (rounded up to nearest hour)
• Waiting Fee: $25 per hour after a 15-minute grace period
• Rush Fee: $25 non-refundable (for bookings within 2-3hrs or less and/or if required prepared docs are sent within same window)
• Rush Hour Fee: $25 if booking is booked between 4pm – 6pm M-F
• Print fee: $10 print fee per 5 pages, will be added to total based on clients request
• Cancellation Fee: 50% of total fee if canceled within 2 hours of appointment (applied to reschedules)

Full payment is required regardless of document outcome.

3. Client Responsibilities

• Ensure all signers are present and have valid ID
• Documents must be complete and ready for notarization
• Be prepared and punctual

4. Right to Refuse Service Service may be refused if:

• Valid ID is not presented
• Signs of coercion or duress
• Incomplete documents or illegal requests

5. Limitation of Liability We do not validate legal content. Liability is limited to notarizing in compliance with Texas law.

6. Governing Law This agreement is governed by Texas law and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Denton, Texas.

As a commissioned Notary Public and/or Notary Signing Agent operating under N&B Street Notary Services, we maintain strict compliance with state and federal laws regarding the handling of funds.

Scope of Services

N&B Street Notary Services is not authorized to collect, transport, receive, or disburse funds on behalf of any party to a real estate transaction or legal agreement. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Property purchase funds
• Down payments or earnest money
• Loan proceeds or refunds
• Personal or business checks
• Cash or money orders

Courier Exception Clause

In limited circumstances, and only at the written direction of a licensed title or escrow company, N&B Street Notary Services may act solely as a document courier to deliver pre-issued checks or disbursements from a licensed entity to a designated recipient.

We will:

• Require a written request from the issuing party.
• Deliver only sealed, unaltered payment instruments.
• Obtain written acknowledgment of receipt from the signer.
• Not assume liability for delays, loss, or disputes related to the funds.

We do not accept cash, provide financial advice, nor act as an intermediary for fund exchanges.

Limitation of Liability

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that N&B Street Notary Services is not a party to any financial transaction and assumes no fiduciary responsibility for the handling, timing, delivery, or condition of any funds. All financial matters must be managed by a licensed escrow, title, or legal entity.

📄 Terms & Conditions – Online Notarizations

Effective Date: 01/01/2025

At N and B Street Notary, we are committed to providing you with exceptional online notarization services. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before booking your appointment.

1. No Refund on Completed Services

Once your online notarization session has been completed and documents have been notarized, no refunds will be issued. The service is considered delivered at that point.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 2 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty.
  
• Cancellations made within 1 hour of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the notarization fee.
  
• Rescheduling within 2 hours is subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
  

3. No-Show Policy

• Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of the full notarization fee.
  
• No refunds will be provided for no-shows.
  

4. Technical Issues

• If technical issues on your end prevent the completion of your notarization, you may reschedule once at no additional cost.
  
• If technical difficulties occur on our side, you will be offered a full refund or free reschedule.
  

5. Refund Processing & Fees

• All refunds are subject to payment processing fees retained by Stripe and other payment processors, which are non-refundable.
  
• Refunds, when issued, may take 5 to 10 business days to be reflected in your account depending on your bank or card issuer.
  

6. Dispute Resolution

• We encourage you to contact our customer service team promptly if you have any concerns or issues prior to requesting a refund.
  
• Refund requests may be denied if abuse or fraudulent activity is suspected.
