Return & Refund Policy for Online Notarizations

Effective Date: 01/01/2025

At N and B Street Notary, we are committed to providing you with exceptional online notarization services. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before booking your appointment.


1. No Refund on Completed Services

Once your online notarization session has been completed and documents have been notarized, no refunds will be issued. The service is considered delivered at that point.


2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 2 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty.
  • Cancellations made within 1 hour of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the notarization fee.
  • Rescheduling within 2 hours is subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

3. No-Show Policy

  • Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of the full notarization fee.
  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows.

4. Technical Issues

  • If technical issues on your end prevent the completion of your notarization, you may reschedule once at no additional cost.
  • If technical difficulties occur on our side, you will be offered a full refund or free reschedule.

5. Refund Processing & Fees

  • All refunds are subject to payment processing fees retained by Stripe and other payment processors, which are non-refundable.
  • Refunds, when issued, may take 5 to 10 business days to be reflected in your account depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Dispute Resolution

  • We encourage you to contact our customer service team promptly if you have any concerns or issues prior to requesting a refund.
  • Refund requests may be denied if abuse or fraudulent activity is suspected.
